The Maryland Homeowners Association Act is the state law regarding the operation of homeowner and community associations.  Consistent with that law, CBCIA has written and formally adopted its constitution to guide the operations and procedures of the association.  The constitution also establishes and defines the positions that make up CBCIA's Board of Directors, the volunteers responsible for the operation of CBCIA.  Additionally , Robert's Rules of Order dictates the procedures for conducting association meetings.

CBCIA has authored and approved ordinances to help ensure safety, security, and enjoyment for all of Columbia Beach's residents.
