Karen Brown has fond childhood memories of summertime fun with extended family at Columbia Beach while swimming, crabbing, boating, and fishing. Now Karen, her husband, and her son enjoy spending time at Columbia Beach year round. They especially like watching sunrises over the Bay, boating and fishing, and sharing time with family and friends. Karen, who is a graduate of Boston University and George Washington School of Law, is an attorney and CPA practicing in Washington, DC.
 

 

DUTIES OF THE AT-LARGE DIRECTOR

 

  • Participates in board meetings, activities, and votes

 

  • Chairs the nominating committee for the biennial elections and prepares and presents a slate of candidates for a vote at the May membership meeting
