Welcome to Columbia Beach, an historic community established in the 1940s as a summer residence for African Americans from the greater Washington, D.C. area. Columbia Beach is now home to the multi-generational descendants of these original trailblazers along with residents of all backgrounds, many of whom live in the community on a year-round basis.
