Welcome to the neighborhood.

We are happy you are here.

GATE ACCESS

To operate the gate, new residents will need either a CLAMSHELL CARD or a DECAL. These are provided free of charge to new homeowners. If necessary, a temporary gate access code can be provided until residents obtain a clamshell card or decal. Residents are also included in the Gate Directory which allows remote operation of the gate for guests, contractors, and delivery persons. The CBCIA Security Chair manages this process: Security@cbcia.org.

WEBSITE ACCESS

The CBCIA will launch a new member-based website in early 2026. Residents will be able to interact with their neighbors online, access information about community events, pay fees associated with replacement gate cards or decals, and donate to community events. Access to the website will be initiated once resident information is provided to the Security Chair. The Website Administrator will contact you once the process is complete.

DOG POLICY

DOG POLICY

All residents and guests are required to adhere to the county animal control laws. Dogs must be leashed and under the control of a responsible person when not on their owner’s property. Dog owners are reminded that they are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

TRASH AND RECYCLING

PARKING RESTRICTIONS

Anne Arundel County picks up Columbia Beach trash, recycling, and yard waste on Mondays. Please help to protect the environment by securing your trash when you place it outside. Yard waste is accepted in paper yard bags and trash cans marked with an "X." The Southern Trash and Recycling Center on Nutwell Sudley Road accepts a variety of items to be recycled, including yard waste, appliances, metal, tires, and bricks: Recycling Center Flyer

Due to narrow streets, parking is prohibited on Al Jones Drive and Columbia Drive. If you do not have access to off-street parking, temporary parking is available near the boat launch and playground.
